“Blank Cloud” is sort of a conversation with my creative self about my state of being at the time. It’s about self-confidence, yet the aesthetic draws from the idea of letting go and allowing things to just be. During the writing process for Temporary Time, I felt the need to make a song based around the acoustic guitar since everything I had been writing was so dense. After some time in Good Dannys studio, the song became layered as hell with synths and woodwinds, while somehow sonically leaving plenty of breathing space.
